Commercial Design | Moscow Chamber of Commerce
The city of Moscow is an oasis for commerce throughout the Palouse. Currently, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce seeks to uphold the values of the past, present and future within the community. Design decisions in this academic project facilitated the desire to become the information hub for business in the region. By revealing the historical character of the structure and juxtaposing it against current technology, the environment will reflect the past, invite whats current and seek out the future. Display areas, wi-fi, flexible meeting spaces, and emphasis on the storefront will draw people in; repositioning the entrance, providing a central reception area, and using warm earth toned finishes advocates an inviting and welcoming hot spot for the community.
